Kelvin
Engineering was established in 1963 and has come to stand for quality
and value for money by continuing to meet the needs of industry today.
A British company
based in Basingstoke, Hampshire and established in 1963 we have become
respected as one of the leading manufacturers of quality built powered
pedestrian equipment. This explains why so many materials handling
companies use our products alongside their own product ranges rather
than developing a pedestrian range for themselves.

Such wide industry
approval is not easily attained, and we believe reflects on our whole
company philosophy "…A total commitment to producing a quality
product, reliable, easy to maintain, robust, simple and safe to operate…"
Furthermore we are active members of the British Industrial Truck
Association (BITA) and are helping to develop National, European and
International standards for pedestrian controlled trucks. |

Manufacturing
is only part of the story, and we have a team of committed after sales
support staff at your service. Having invested in a Kelvin truck our
professional team of service engineers will ensure that it continues
to perform to the same high standard for many years. However, as not
all customers are the same, indeed as no two applications are, we
will listen to you, establish your requirements and agree with you
the best maintenance schedule to suit your needs. This can then be
tailored to be as flexible as your business requires. |
|
|
Our experienced
engineers are individually trained to the most stringent standards,
and as we only service our own trucks they have full product knowledge.
Each service van carries a full set of spares and each engineer has
a mobile link back to our computerised control centre. This enables
us to not only respond to a call rapidly but to also fix your truck
quickly and efficiently. |
|
|
This service
we offer is professional and complete, our courteous uniformed staff
always arrive on your premises presentable and when they leave they
take with them all old parts , used oil is passed on to a licensed
waste disposal company. For
customers with their own maintenance staff we can provide a same day
despatch service from our centralised spare parts store at our Basingstoke
factory. |
